Sphaeras has had a rather eventful year, performing regularly in the local gigging circuit, more recently announced as the opening act for Japanese math-rock band Tricot, and of course hard at work in the studio for their highly anticipated debut album, Moirai.

Moirai comprises of 7 original tracks (excluding three interludes) that collectively trace the band’s journey since its infancy in May 2013. 

Recorded at Snakeweed Studios by heavyweight producer Leonard Soosay, mixed and mastered by Carl Amburn (Russian Circles, Town Portal, Self-Evident), the album will be a genuine representation of what Sphaeras is so far and what to expect from them in the coming years.

And they don't cut themselves too much slack, with every live performance by them - and believe us, we've seen most of it - more powerful than the last with something new to relish and indulge in. The album Moirai features a bonus track, 'Ensemble' that was written and recorded together with sibling band, Two Seas.
